One Armed Chad Beats Darcie at Pool

An after-work pool night resulted in Director of Sales, Chad Randall, challenging Office Manager, Darcie Vany to a game of pool. The twist was that Pool Shark Randall was only going to use one hand, while Severely-Lacking-Hand-Eye- Coordination Vany was allowed to use both. The game was tense, very close. Vany, cunning as she is, took advantage of Randall’s many beer breaks to illegaly put a few balls in the pockets. Her cheats were not enough to win her the game however, as Randall came out on top. A victorious Randall felt sorry for the loser, and bought her drinks. So really…who was victorious?

SXSW

We’ve decided on what we’re doing for SXSW this year…I’m so excited. We’re renting a ranch just outsite of Austin for the event. Some of the details haven’t been worked out yet, but the b5ranch is on! We’ve still got room in the house, as well as tons of space to camp, so if anyone needs a place to crash, e-mail me at ed@b5media.com. We’ll be there from the 6th to the 12th. Ed leads a double life!

Fellow b5er’s, our new VP of Social Engineering and Development is leading a double life and has not mentioned it to us! As I was perusing the Pittsburgh Penguin team statistics, I came across a startling image: Ed modeling a Penguin’s hat! Befuddled, I quickly clicked on the link provided with the image. I was redirected to the Yahoo! Team sports online store, where, yup you guessed it, Mr. VP of mingling was striking pose after pose modeling accessories for all different pro and collegiate athletic teams. I cannot believe that the newest VP of our company, especially the man who is supposed to bring socializing and communication to a premium, would go behind our backs and pull off this modeling stunt. Ed, we have questions and you need to provide us with answers! Also, I am not sure if it is true or if my eyes were playing tricks on me, but I went to VH1.com for a hot minute and saw they are making “America’s Most Smartest Model 2″. A quick preview of the show flashed someone who looked an awful lot like Ed yelling in a British accent to “bring me my damn fish and chips now. Do I look like I am kidding, I can’t suck helium balloons on an empty stomach!”. Is Ed trying to become America’s most smartest model?

Brian’s Halter Top

From the breif time that I have been here, I have learned many interesting things about Brian Code Ninja. First off, Gabrielle has never seen him with clothes on. Secondly, he wears a halter top frequently and uses pom poms regularly as fashion accessories. He obviously takes the “casual” dress code too seriously.

Hello From the New VP Social Engineering and Development

I just wanted to publicly greet everyone and say how happy I am to be on board at b5media. I’ve been here a few months now, but tech couldn’t get me login information for the team blog…something about a goat. I’ve been hearing a lot about animals since I’ve been here…llamas are somehow a large part of the culture here at b5media. Still trying to assess exactly what that means. I’m sure I’ll be able to find out all sorts of interesting things here…and promise to let you know about all of them. Looking forward to being with b5media forever.
